From April 26 to 27, 2018, the inverter developed and manufactured by avic-tec (Xiamen) Power Technology Co., Ltd. was tested for earthquake resistance in the State Key Laboratory of civil engineering, Tongji University, Shanghai. This test was witnessed by China Nuclear Power Engineering Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen otexun Power Equipment Co., Ltd. and passed the test at one time.

There are two sets of equipment for seismic test this time, one three-phase output 80KVA inverter and one single-phase output 30KVA (with bypass isolation regulator) respectively. The anti-seismic test of the equipment was carried out in strict accordance with the "technical agreement for inverter equipment of UPS power system dedicated for serious accidents of Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant Units 5 and 6" and the "floor response spectrum of low-voltage power plant for serious accidents of Tianwan nuclear power plant expansion project units 5 and 6".

The equipment simulates the on-site installation, and the anti-seismic test is carried out on the seismic platform under the condition of power on and load. Before the anti-seismic test, the structural integrity and functional integrity of the inverter equipment are checked.

The structural characteristic points are selected for the acceleration test points of the seismic test, which are mainly distributed on the top of the cabinet, the middle of the cabinet frame on both sides, the installation place and the installation panel of the monitor. Each acceleration test point includes three directions: horizontal direction (x and Y direction) and vertical direction (z direction).

Five SL1 operation benchmark tests and one SL2 safe shutdown test were conducted in this test. During the anti-seismic test, the analog and switching values of the output voltage of the two inverters are detected respectively.

After the seismic test, the structural integrity and functional integrity of the inverter equipment were checked again.

The test proved that the inverter for avic-tec nuclear power plant met the requirements of "technical agreement for inverter equipment of UPS power system dedicated for serious accidents of units 5 and 6 of Tianwan nuclear power plant" and "floor response spectrum of low-voltage power plant for serious accidents of units 5 and 6 of Tianwan nuclear power plant expansion project", and passed the seismic test at one time.
